ASTANA. Feb 16 (Interfax) - The resolutions of the first and second meetings in Astana must become basis for the intra-Syrian talks in Geneva, the head of the Syrian government delegation, Bashar Jafaari, said.
"In our view, the second Astana meeting paved the way for the upcoming Geneva conference which must take into account all the results and resolutions of the first and second Astana meetings so as to make them the basis for the work of the upcoming meeting in Geneva," Jafaari told a press conference after the talks on Thursday.
"We cannot start every meeting from zero and forget the sequence of the steps we made over the course of the previous meetings," he said.
