ASTANA. Feb 16 (Interfax) - Russian delegation head, special presidential envoy Alexander Lavrentyev hopes that the Turkish delegation will be represented at the higher level at the next round of talks on Syria.
"A tight working schedule, which is due to President Erdogan's visits, is behind the representation of the Turkish delegation at this level, rather than the level of the deputy minister [at Astana-2]. Therefore, I hope that at the next meeting we will ensure worthy representation of the Turkish delegation after all," he said at a press conference in Astana.
"The Turkish delegation was nevertheless vested with all powers, therefore, we did not have any opposition on their part," he also said.
