UN representatives to cooperate with Syrian truce monitoring group - source

ASTANA. Feb 16 (Interfax) - The document agreed on at the talks in Astana contains clauses on the separation of the moderate opposition and terrorists in Syria and envisages the United Nations' participation in monitoring of the truce, a source in the delegation of one of the guarantor countries told Interfax.

"The trilateral group in charge of truce monitoring will include the guarantor countries (Russia, Turkey, Iran) and experts from the UN," the source said, quoting from the document.

The document also contains provisions "on the separation of terrorists from armed opposition groups," he said.

The document also spells out a "prisoner exchange procedure," the source said.
