Russia to take all necessary measures to protect its security in Black Sea region - Grushko

BRUSSELS. Feb 17 (Interfax) - Russia will thoroughly analyze NATO plans to expand its presence in the Black Sea region, Russia's permanent representative to NATO Alexander Grushko said.

"We've already taken additional steps to reinforce out groupings in the south. Our grouping in Crimea is being re-equipped. And, of course, all necessary measures will be taken for Russian interests in this region to be duly ensured. There is no doubt about that," the high-ranking diplomat told Russian journalists in Brussels on Thursday, commenting on the results of a two-day meeting of NATO defense ministers.
