DPR preparing to repeat arms withdrawal attempt after Monday's failure

DONETSK. Feb 21 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) hopes to withdraw weapons from the contact line on Tuesday.

"As we said earlier, the arms withdrawal may happen today," a spokesman for the DPR Defense Ministry told Interfax.

The Donetsk militia initially prepared to pull back weapons on Monday.

"The withdrawal did not happen because of the Ukrainian army's unpreparedness, of which Gen. Petrenko, the head of the Ukrainian mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC), informed the Russian representative," a DPR militia spokesman said earlier.
