MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to award Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin, who died on Monday, with the Order of Courage.
"For selflessness, vigor and high professionalism demonstrated at the position of the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations in New York, the United States, Vitaly Ivanovich Churkin is awarded with the Order of Courage (posthumously)," the Kremlin press service cited the text of the presidential decree.
