ASTANA. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan is always ready to host negotiations on settling the Syria conflict, Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi said.
"This readiness always exists as far as Kazakhstan is concerned because our mission is to ensure a platform for negotiations," Tileuberdi told reporters before the start of a government session on Tuesday.
All parties involved in the talks give special attention to security arrangements during meetings in Astana, he said.
"It is highly important that, when coming here, all of the participants in the negotiations receive a certain kind of security guarantee. Even the armed opposition is confident, when coming here, that Kazakhstan has ensured a peaceful platform for holding the talks. That is why we are always ready," Tileuberdi said.
