MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 12 and Turkey 27 ceasefire breaches in Syria in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
"Within the past 24 hours, the Russian delegation to the Russia-Turkey commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 12 instances in the governorates of Damascus (six), Latakia (three) and Hama (three)," the Russian reconciliation center said on the Defense Ministry website.
Turkey has recorded 27 breaches in seven governorates, including eight in the governorate of Damascus, seven in Aleppo, four in Idlib, three in Homs, two in Hama, two in Daraa and one in Latakia.
"During an inquiry into these facts, the Russian delegation confirmed one case, another two cases could not be verified, and the remaining 24 were not confirmed," the center said.
