Russian reconciliation center in Syria blames ISIL, Nusra for ceasefire breaches (Part 2)

MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax-AVN) - All ceasefire violations in Syria are provocations staged by ISIL and Jabhat al-Nusra militants (outlawed in Russia), head of the Center for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria Alexei Kim said.

"All cessation of hostilities violations are acts of provocation by ISIL and Jabhat al-Nusra militants," Kim told reporters on Tuesday.

As many as 1,317 populated areas, where over 5.5 million people live, have already joined the truce, he said.

"The commanders of 185 moderate opposition units have signed agreements on the cessation of hostilities, including 64 units after the talks in Astana," Kim said.
