MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - The Syrian Kurds should be be represented at the intra-Syrian talks in Geneva and the Moscow group of Syrian opposition will strive towards this goal; however, this depends on the situation on the ground, Moscow group representative Qadri Jamil said.
"What's most important is that the Kurds are represented. The Kurds have more various political forces in Syria than the Arabs have," Jamil told reporters at a news conference on Tuesday.
"Can the Kurds be represented at the next round in Geneva? We will be striving towards that. We emphasize that without no settlement is possible without Kurds," he said.
"I believe that everything depends on how the situation practically develops on the ground. I believe that ultimately, they will be represented in Geneva and their participation will strengthen the Geneva talks," he said.
