MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - The agreement to withdraw forces in Stanytsia Luhanska in the Donbas conflict zone on March 7 has been disrupted through the fault of Kyiv, Russia's representative in the Contact Group on Ukraine, Boris Gryzlov, said.
"Unfortunately, the withdrawal failed to take place again, once again. There was no reason other than the position of the Ukrainian side," Gryzlov told journalists on Tuesday.
The Special Monitoring Mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe should comment on the matter, he said. "We are awaiting commentary," he said.
That the withdrawal of forces in Stanytsia Luhanska had been slated for March 7 was announced by Gryzlov on March 1. On that day the Trilateral Contact Group met to discuss the removal of heavy weapons from the dividing line to storage sites.
