U.S. ban on Pentagon's work with Rosoboronexport has been in effect for long time already - Russian company spokesman

MOSCOW. March 9 (Interfax) - A ban on the United States Defense Department's work with Russian state arms trader Rosoboronexport has not been lifted, a Rosoboronexport spokesman said when commenting on reports that the U.S. House of Representatives approved the Pentagon's draft budget for the next fiscal year.

Among other issues, the draft budget envisages a ban on cooperation with Rosoboronexport.

"This ban was introduced for the Pentagon a long time ago and has not been removed. It was recalled today as a specification because the U.S. was approving a funding program for the Pentagon for the period up to the autumn of 2017," the spokesman said.
