MOSCOW. March 16 (Interfax) - If Libya officially requests Russian assistance in training its military, the request will be considered, but such matters require inter-agency approval, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said.
"Currently we interact with various political forces in Libya to help settle the situation in this country. In the event of some specific requests, of course these will be considered, but I will say once again: such matters require inter-agency approval in our country," Zakharova said at a Thursday briefing.
