Pyongyang urges Washington to stop hostile policy against DPRK - North Korean ambassador in Moscow

MOSCOW. March 16 (Interfax) - Washington must abandon its policy of threatening Pyongyang, according to Kim Hyun Joon, the Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Moscow.

"We can see that since the new U.S. administration came to power Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has been visiting Japan and South Korea. We believe that the U.S. must rightly understand the situation on the Korean peninsula and stop its hostile policy and military exercises involving nuclear weapons," Kim told journalists on Thursday.

"If [the U.S.] makes such a decision, the result will be positive. But if they continue their nuclear threats and nuclear exercises, their policy will suffer a collapse just as Obama's did," the ambassador said.
