ASTANA. March 20 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Russian President Vladimir Putin have discussed the outcome of the meeting on Syria in Astana in a telephone conversation, the Kazakh presidential press service said on Saturday.
"The leaders of the countries exchanged opinions on the issues in the regional and global agenda, including on the situation in Ukraine and the outcome of another round of the international meeting on Syria that took place in Astana on March 14-15," the press service said.
The sides discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, as well as the issues of the current activities and further development of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), during the conversation, the press service said.
