MINSK. March 20 (Interfax) - The West-2017 joint strategic military exercises of Belarus and Russia will be held from September 14 till September 20, Belarusian Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov said on Monday.
"There are plans to hold the West-2017 drills from September 14 till September 20," the BelTA state-run news agency quoted Ravkov as saying after he had informed President Alexander Lukashenko about the exercise's concept.
Seven ranges and training areas will be assigned in Belarus for operations of the regional group of forces, the minister said.
