MOSCOW. March 22 (Interfax) - Russia will judge about the implementation of the incident prevention mechanism between Russia and Israel in Syria by deeds, not by statements, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday.
"When the prime minister of Israel was in Moscow next to last time, he and Russian President Vladimir Putin reached an agreement on how our military can interact with regard to what is happening in Syria. When he [Benjamin Netanyahu] was in Moscow several days ago, this agreement was clearly reaffirmed. We will judge about the way our Israeli partners are fulfilling this agreement based not on statements but on specific deeds," Lavrov told reporters.
