KYIV. March 24 (Interfax) - Pavlo Parshov, the assassin of former Russian State Duma deputy Denis Voronenkov, a citizen of Ukraine, was fired from the Ukrainian National Guard in 2016 for failure to fulfill contract conditions.

A certificate of a combat action participant issued by the Ukrainian National Guard in 2016 was found on Parshov, the National Guard press service said on Friday.

According to the biography information possessed by the National Guard, Pavlo Oleksandrovich Parshov was born in Sevastopol on July 28, 1988 and has recently lived in Dnepropetrovsk. He was called for military service in the National Guard of Ukraine (Donbas battalion) on August 25, 2015). At that time, the Donbas battalion was commanded by Lieut. Col. Anatoliy Vinogorodskiy.
