Kremlin has doubts about photos shown by U.S. ambassador at UN as argument

MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) - Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov has commented on the demonstration of photographs of Syrian chemical attack victims by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley and said that materials which have nothing to do with the reality are often shown at the UN Security Council.

"A demonstration of photographs can definitely be an important proof of particular facts, it may also not be such; it may be a mere emotional gesture. We know that various materials have been demonstrated at the [UN] Security Council, both on paper and in glass containers, and most of those cases were pure emotions which had nothing to do with the real situation," Peskov told a press briefing on Thursday.
