VLADIVOSTOK. April 10 (Interfax) - Washington's strike on Syria has proven that the United States is the "most unpredictable" country, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"It seems to me this has confirmed once again that the policy and what is happening in the U.S. now in general once again underscores the deplorable fact that it is the most unpredictable state. And if there is something that is predictable in the United States, it is exactly the unpredictability of its foreign policy," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told the News on Saturday with Sergei Brilyov program shown on the Rossiya 1 (VGTRK) television station.
The Russian side has to work "in conditions of the unstable, constantly changing and turbulent American foreign policy," she said.
"And London and other members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization have always shaped their policy exactly around the course set to them by Washington. It was not a surprise to us," she said.
