MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - Possible imposition of sanctions against Russian military due to Syria will not impact Russia's operation to combat terrorism in this country, Federation Council defense and security committee's chairman Viktor Ozerov said.
"This will affect our actions in no way. Of course, we will continue our operation, no one can stop us from seeking a goal, which we are pursuing there - elimination of terrorists," Ozerov told Interfax on Monday, commenting on the report that the G7 chief diplomats intend to discuss possible imposition of sanctions against Russian and Syrian high-ranking military.
