MOSCOW. April 11 (Interfax-AVN) - United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will be building from 12 to 18 Ilyushin Il-112 military transport planes per year, President of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Yury Slyusar said in an interview aired by the Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) channel on Tuesday.
"We are set to produce from 12 to 18 planes per year in Voronezh. That will actually meet the demand of the Aerospace Forces and potential buyers in military-technical cooperation projects," Slyusar said.
The Il-112 plane will perform the maiden flight by the end of 2017, and the deliveries will begin in 2021, he said.
