Russian countermeasures possible unless U.S. tries to resolve problems in bilateral relations - Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. April 11 (Interfax) - Washington has been doing nothing to resolve problems piling up in relations with Moscow, and so Russia may take countermeasures based on the reciprocity principle, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

"As to the bilateral agenda, the long list of irritants, which have emerged through Washington's fault, has not been shortening. The absence of effort to resolve the problems that have accumulated will require countermeasures to be taken based on the principle of reciprocity," the ministry said in a commentary ahead of U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's visit to Moscow.
