MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - The Russian Federation Council has urged the international community to condemn the U.S. missile strike on a Syrian airbase and to launch a thorough inquiry into its circumstances.
"Seeing the aforesaid U.S. military operation as an act of aggression against a sovereign state, the Federation Council insists on conducting a thorough inquiry into every circumstance of the use of U.S. military force against Syria on April 7, 2017," the Federation Council said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Federation Council is outraged by the missile attack carried out by the U.S. Armed Forces against the Syrian Arab Republic on the orders from the U.S. president, the statement said.
