MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - The Kremlin sees the United States' calls on Russia to stop supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad as having no chance for success.
"You have probably noticed the Russian foreign minister's statement that one should not ask anyone to make a choice and stand at the crossroads. This has no chance for success," Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday when asked what the Kremlin thought about the U.S. proposal that it should stop backing the Syrian president.
