MOSCOW. April 12 (Interfax) - Roscosmos has effectively begun implementing its development strategy for the period to 2025 and for the prospective period to 2030, the state corporation's chief Igor Komarov said.
"Literally one of these days the strategy was approved by Roscosmos' supervisory board, and we have effectively started implementing it," Komarov said at a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and government members on Wednesday.
The strategy involves a serious optimization of the sector and a radical increase of labor productivity, he said. .
Roscosmos also faces the task of increasing the orbital grouping to the regular level for each system - 164 satellites - by 2025, and to more than 200 by 2030, successful launches should account for 99% by 2025, Komarov said.
Roscosmos is also planning to increase its share of revenue on the global market for space services from 4.8% to 10%, the Roscosmos chief said.
