Moscow not to support UNSC resolution groundlessly condemning Damascus - Lavrov

MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - Russia will not support attempts to 'stealthily' adopt a UN Security Council (UNSC) resolution condemning Damascus over the chemical incident in Idlib, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"Certainly, we cannot and will not support attempts to stealthily, without any inspections pass a UNSC resolution groundlessly condemning the government [of Syria]," Lavrov said at a meeting with the heads of the Russian Foreign Ministry's offices in Russian regions.
