MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - The police are inquiring the circumstances of a blast of an unknown object in St. Petersburg that injured a teenager, the press service of the Interior Ministry branch for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region told Interfax.
According to tentative data, "an unknown object happened to be in the hands of a young man and exploded there" at 6.40 p.m. at 4, Kima Avenue in the Vasileostrovsky neighborhood in St. Petersburg, the press service said.
"The teenager was injured and hospitalized," a press service officer said.
Police officers are working at the scene, looking into all the circumstances of the incident, he said.
