Kremlin denies reports Tillerson handed Trump's Syria plan to Putin

MOSCOW. April 18 (Interfax) - The reports that U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson provided Russian President Vladimir Putin with the main principles of U.S. President Donald Trump's Syria settlement plan during his recent visit to Moscow are not true, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

When asked by Interfax whether this information was true, Peskov said: "No, it is not."

Some media outlets said earlier, citing unnamed U.S. officials, that, during his recent visit to Moscow, Tillerson had handed the main principles of Trump's plan for Syria to Putin.
