MAKHACHKALA. April 21 (Interfax) - Law enforcement employees have detained a Dagestani resident on suspicion of involvement in an international terrorist organization, the Russian Federal Security Service republican branch told Interfax.
"Employees of the FSB and Interior Ministry departments for Dagestan have detained in the town of Izberbash Ilgar Vagif-ogly Aliyev, who was born in 1997 and suspected of complicity in setting up a Nurdzhular international organization cell (recognized extremist and outlawed in Russia by the Russian Supreme Court judgment in 2008) in Dagestan," the interlocutor of the news agency said.
According to his data, Aliyev was detained as part of investigation into a criminal inquiry launched on the basis of Article 282.1 of the Russian Criminal Code and the carrying out of the operative search.
"This criminal inquiry was opened on the basis of the data of Aliyev's complicity in the training, when the extremist literature had been studied involving a group of Nurdzhular adepts, in Izberbash, Makhachkala and Khasavyurt," the interlocutor of the news agency also said.
