Azerbaijani defense minister orders commanders to inflict maximum losses on adversary in Karabakh conflict zone

BAKU. April 21 (Interfax) - Azerbaijani Defense Minister Col. Gen. Zakir Hasanov has ordered the commanders of the Armed Forces units stationed at the frontline in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone to be prepared for active fighting, the Defense Ministry's press service said with reference to Hasanov's remarks at a ministry board meeting.

"When speaking about the current situation in the frontline zone, Hasanov gave some specific instructions to the commanders of the units stationed at the frontline to be constantly prepared for most active battles, not to give a respite to the adversary even for one minute, keep its activities under their constant control and preemptively suppress any actions by the enemy in a resolute manner, causing it as serious losses as possible," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
