MOSCOW. May 3 (Interfax) - The High Negotiations Committee (HNC) has confirmed that the Syrian opposition delegation will take no part in the current Syria meeting in Astana.
The negotiations have been suspended, HNC advisor Yahya al-Aridi told Interfax.
He explained the decision to suspend participation in the meeting by the exacerbating military situation in the region.
Bombardments have intensified, which is why the delegation is suspending its participation in the talks, al-Aridi said.
