ASTANA. May 4 (Interfax) - The Syrian opposition is ready to continue dialogue on a political settlement for Syria, including in Astana, armed opposition representative Osama Abu Zaid said.
"If there are opportunities for a fair political solution so as to meet the aspirations of the Syrian people, on any platform, be it in Astana, in Geneva or elsewhere - no doubt, once all conditions for a political solution are in place, we, the forces of the Free Syrian Army and military forces, will always be in favor of a political solution and will never be impeding them," Abu Zaid said at a news briefing in Astana on Thursday.
