WASHINGTON. May 10 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has rejected the allegations that Russia supplies arms to Taliban members in Afghanistan.
"We have repeatedly said this. Present just one fact! Those who seriously study Afghanistan have an overall view of what is going on there and there is no serious analyst, such as not trying to win a cheap reputation, that claims that we provide the Taliban with arms," Lavrov said at a news conference in Washington on Wednesday when asked by a reporter to comment on the statements made by Pentagon officials that Russia supplies armaments to Taliban members in Afghanistan.
