MOSCOW. May 12 (Interfax) - U.S. sabotage activities in North Korea are a sign of an upcoming war on the Korean Peninsula, North Korean Ambassador to Russia Kim Hyun Jun said.
"By placing numerous modern reconnaissance devices on the ground, in the water and in the air the United States has begun frenetic intelligence-gathering activities against North Korea," Kim Hyun Jun said in a statement released by the embassy on Friday.
"Aggressors normally engage in intensive intelligence-gathering before unleashing wars," the ambassador said.
"Acts of state terror and espionage activities by the United States" indicate that the unleashing of a war on the Korean Peninsula is "only a matter of time," he said.
