MOSCOW. May 18 (Interfax-AVN) - Rosoboronexport will showcase 250 models of weapons and equipment at an International Exhibition of Technology in Defense and Prevention of Natural Disasters (SITDEF-2017) due to be held in Peru on May 18-21, the company said.
"Considering the modern day challenges such as terrorism, drug trafficking, organized and cyber crime, Rosoboronexport is counting on foreign customers' attention towards the Complex Security Systems project," Rosoboronexport said in a statement obtained by Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.
This project "offers integrated solutions on cyber security and the monitoring of aerial and coastal zones, national borders, large municipalities and administrative units and installations," the statement says.
In all, the Rosoboronexport exposition will provide information on over 250 military products.
"Many of them were used by the Russian Aerospace Forces during the anti-terrorist operation in Syria and have proved themselves as a reliable, quality, unfailing weapon capable of executing tasks in real life combat," Rosoboronexport said.
