MOSCOW. May 22 (Interfax) - The scope of Syrian settlement issues was discussed at the talks between Russian Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and head of the EU Delegation to Russia Vygaudas Usackas in Moscow on Monday.
"At the talks the interlocutors have discussed the set of Syrian settlement issues, including in the context of the outcomes of the international meeting on Syria in Astana on May 3-4 and the latest round of intra-Syrian consultations under the UN aegis in Geneva on May 16-19," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"The situation emerging in Libya and the state of affairs on Palestinian-Israeli track were also considered," the statement said.
