Russian Security Council, Serbian Interior Ministry to continue consultations on security contacts - Security Council

MOSCOW. May 23 (Interfax) - The secretariat of the Russian Security Council and Serbia's Interior Ministry signed a memorandum of mutual understanding at a meeting between Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, the Security Council's press service told Interfax.

"Nikolai Patrushev and Nebojsa Stefanovic discussed issues concerning interaction between the law enforcement agencies and special services of Russia and Serbia," the press service said.

The parties also agreed to continue consultations and keep exchanging opinions on ways to further promote defense and police cooperation and interaction in the fight against international terrorism, drug trafficking and other transnational crimes.
