Nebenzya may join Russian Mission to UN in summer - Gatilov

MOSCOW. May 25 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Vasily Nebenzya may leave for New York as Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations this coming summer, Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said.

"I believe so, this is possible," Gatilov said when reporters asked him at the State Duma on Thursday whether Nebenzya might be sent to New York on mission in summer.

"The process will take more than one day; [a confirmation by] the State Duma and the Federation Council and a presidential order [will be required]," Gatilov said.
