GORKI, Moscow region. May 2 9 (Interfax) - The first trials of the Ilyushin Il-112V light military transport plane may be delayed until the end of this year.
"We are expecting another premiere of an aircraft, the Ilyushin Il-112V, to happen at the end of this year," Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Monday.
While visiting the Voronezh aircraft production association in late January to take a look at the Il-112V project, Rogozin said that the plane was being assembled at record speed and the maiden flight was due before July 1, 2017.
