Moscow calls on Geneva negotiators to focus on Syrian constitutional reform - Lavrov

CAIRO. May 30 (Interfax) - Russia urges all the parties to the Geneva process on Syria to focus efforts on a constitutional reform in this country.

"We are calling on all the parties to the Geneva process to focus on this problem along with other issues, which are put on the agenda, including the issues of the government during the transitional stage, and the fight against terrorism, and the preparations to general elections," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said following the visit to Cairo.

As reported, Lavrov and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu have visited Egypt to hold talks on the problems of political and diplomatic settlement of regional conflicts.
