Putin to meet with IAEA Director General at SPIEF, to discuss Iran, N. Korea

MOSCOW. May 31 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will discuss the nuclear issue of North Korea and the plan to implement the Iranian nuclear program with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Yukiya Amano at the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov said.

"A brief meeting with International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Yukiya Amano is envisaged to address various issues relating to the IAEA work, including the implementation of the joint comprehensive plan of action on the Iranian nuclear program and, of course, North Korea, bearing in mind the importance of the issue," Ushakov told reporters on Wednesday.
