MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - Moscow is concerned about the U.S. strike on a plane of the Syrian Air Force and is warning Washington against new attacks on Syrian governmental forces, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.
"We were anxious and concerned to learn about the strike on a plane of the Syrian Air Force, which led to its loss," Ryabkov told Interfax on Monday.
"The direct attack on a plane of the Syrian governmental Air Force is the next step towards dangerous escalation. We are warning Washington against using similar methods in the future," he said.
