Gryzlov says resumption of full-scale war in Donbas unlikely

MOSCOW. June 21 (Interfax) - The conflict in Donbas has no military solution, Boris Gryzlov, Russian envoy to the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas, said.

"I don't think the resumption of full-scale hostilities is possible in Donbas and I believe Kyiv isn't ready for it. Although there are high-ranking officials [in Kyiv] urging to resume full-scale hostilities, to conquer or re-conquer the Donbas territories. Firstly, it will result in numerous victims, and, secondly, it's unrealistic. They should understand that it's not possible, this conflict cannot be resolved by military means," Gryzlov said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.
