LIVADIA, Crimea. June 30 (Interfax-AVN) - Crimean shipyards can build ships for Russia's Black Sea Fleet, except the Project Varshavyanka submarines, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said.
"By nomenclature of the combat composition of the Black Sea Fleet, all overwater ships can be built in Crimea and Sevastopol, except submarines - production is very complicated, in St. Petersburg. The overwater fleet can also be repaired here. This is a very important conclusion made today," Rogozin told journalists after a Russian military-industrial commission meeting in Livadia on Friday.
