Russian, Chinese foreign ministries express concern over N. Korean report of new missile launch, consider it unacceptable

MOSCOW. July 4 (Interfax) - Moscow and Beijing are concerned over North Korea's statement that the country has performed another missile launch and describe it as unacceptable, the Russian and Chinese foreign ministries said in a joint statement.

"The sides are seriously concerned with the North Korean statement of July 4 of this year about a launch of a ballistic missile and consider such a statement to be unacceptable and contradicting the relevant UN Security Council resolutions. The sides are calling on North Korea to strictly abide by these resolutions," the statement reads.
