ASTANA. July 4 (Interfax) - The guarantor states, Russia, Iran, and Turkey, want to set up a joint coordination center for observing the security regime in de-escalation areas in Syria, Alexander Lavrentyev, the head of the Russian delegation to the negotiations on the intra-Syrian settlement, said in Astana on Tuesday.
"Quite an important auxiliary point is willingness of all guarantor states to set up a joint coordination center for observing security in de-escalation areas," Lavrentyev said at a press conference on Tuesday.
"As a matter of principle, we will be able to adopt this document as well," he said.
