MOSCOW. July 10 (Interfax) - Russian inspectors will conduct an observation flight over the territory of the United Kingdom, head of the Russian Nuclear Threat Reduction Center Sergei Ryzhkov said.
"The Russian Federation plans to conduct an observation flight over the territory of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on a Russian Antonov An-30B observation plane in the period between July 10 and July 14," the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper quoted Ryzhkov as saying.
The flight will take place under the Open Skies Treaty from the Brize Norton airfield, he said. The maximum flight range will be 2,400 kilometers.
"It will be the 27th observation flight conducted by the Russian Federation over the territories of Open Skies Treaty countries in 2017," Ryzhkov said.
