New round of talks over Donbas prisoner exchange to be held as Skype conference on July 31 - Kyiv says

KYIV. July 19 (Interfax) - Talks over an exchange of prisoners held in Donbas are due on July 31, in the form of a Skype conference, Ukraine's representative in the humanitarian subgroup of the Trilateral Contact Group said.

"The next talks [are due] on Skype on July 31. I hope they will be held already after talks in the 'Normandy format' [involving Germany, France, Ukraine and Russia] and be productive," Iryna Herashchenko wrote on her Facebook page on Wednesday.

"The Ukrainian representatives, who were vested with relevant powers and directives, once again insisted on setting a specific date for the release of all Ukrainians," Herashchenko said.

"We are prepared for compromise in order to get our people out. And we are moving in this direction," Herashchenko said.
