MOSCOW. July 20 (Interfax) - The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry has again sent over 20 tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Yemen to people hurt by the military conflict," the ministry press service told Interfax.
"A Russian Emergency Situations Ministry Ilyushin Il-76 carrying over 23 tonnes of humanitarian aid left the Zhukovsky airport for Yemen today on the orders of the Russian government," a source told Interfax. The cargo includes tents and food. The plane will refuel in Egypt, from where it will continue its flight to Aden.
On July 18, a Russian Emergency Situations Ministry Il-76 plane took over 20 tonnes of similar humanitarian assistance to Yemen. On its way back, it picked up 62 citizens of Russia and CIS countries who wished to leave the military conflict area.
